Ilyas Ayub Photography

Ilyas specialises in people and event photography.

Ilyas spent his formative years working in corporate UK. He used his photographs to help develop marketing materials and soon realized that his passion lay away from his desk life. He decided to pursue his dream in taking beautiful photographs of people, special occasions and cityscapes.

In 2016, Ilyas was the inaugural “Instagrammer-In-Residence” for the FTSE 100 company British Land Plc. Ilyas beat off hundreds of other entries to win this accolade. He was the first to hold such a prestigious position not only for British Land Plc but also for any FTSE 100 company.

He has also won many competitions, including Lumiere London 2016 competition held by Visit London. Ilyas has had his photographs featured by Visit London and Time Out London. He has had his photographs published in the National Geographic UK, the Guardian, the Daily Mirror, and the Evening Standard.

Ilyas undertakes various charity projects. He is currently the photographer for a local charity: the Newham All Star Sports Academy (NASSA)
